I was truly honored to be hired by this organization based in Peru. This is a softball club for girls who live in terribly impoverished conditions in Ventanilla, which is part of the district known as Callao. This club brings these girls out of those poor conditions and onto the softball field, providing support, bringing some happiness, and fun to them. The Cardenales Softball Club del Callao hired me to produce a visual identity for the team, along with an illustration of the cardinal bird at bat for their jerseys, typography work and production of the club's stationary and seal which embosses that stationary. It was perhaps the most broad-spectrum job I have done in a long time and I was truly thankful for the opportunity to make a difference for these young women. ¡Van los cardenales!
