As Pixelworx Idea Factory enters into it’s seventh year, it was time for some changes. The web site had been sitting idle since 2017 and needed a serious overhaul. It all started with wireframes, coming up with a plan for how the site should look. The 2017 site was very overwhelming and so I wanted to make the 2019 site super clean and not overkill. It’s hard going through the projects you’ve done over the years and have to pick out just six of the very best. It’s really easy to get carried away with a portfolio and pile in the kitchen sink - even stuff you feel is garbage - as if to say, “Look! I’ve done a lot of stuff!” Well in this case, he who has the most pieces in their portfolio is not the winner.
Here's a video which shows how the site evolved from some sketches on a piece of paper to a full-blown awesome and amazing web site design - with a great soundtrack I might add. Also below is a wireframe I did which shows the finalized design.
Pixelworx Idea Factory has changed quite a bit since it opened its doors in June 2012. At first all I did was branding and web design. But it wasn't long before I began expanding my skills and adding more capabilities to the offering.
Yes the factory has come a long way in these seven years, and it's my sincere hope I will continue to expand and grow my skillsets to do even more amazing things in the future. I hope you enjoy the all new Pixelworx Idea Factory. By the way, if you're curious about what the web site looked like in the past, here's some links that magically take you back in time:
